JMWristbands was organized by three John Mayer fans, and is now led by four. The three of us met through the JM fan community in 2007, and have been best friends ever since. We have traveled to several shows together and have met fans from all across the country. We work exceptionally well as a team, which is what leads us to this project.
In the past, other fans had created wristbands to identify each other at shows and then donated the money to a charity. We decided to take on this task in 2008, and have been doing it ever since. In 2009 John's management was happy to get involved by giving us a table inside the Beacon Theater in NYC to sell wristbands with proceeds going to MOM (Military Outreach Ministries). We continued that relationship with John Mayer's management into the Summer 2010 Tour. For that tour, we were provided with tables in the venues at 23 shows to sell wristbands. In May of 2011 we were invited by Mick Management to attend a charity event in New York, hosted by John Mayer himself.

Along with John's management, we have built a relationship with NCIRE. In June 2011 we attended the Brain at War conference, organized by NCIRE, and JMWristbands was recognized for the work we have done to raise money and awareness for PTSD.
What we raised:
2008- $1200 for Johns Back to You fund.
2009- $1200 for MOM (Military Outreach Ministry)
2010- $6,000 for MOM
2010 to Present - $8,000 for NCIRE and growing
Our donation to MOM got us a spot on their "Star Supporters" 2010 list! Check it out here.
